About this policy This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which cookies Restart Talent Ltd uses on its website (www.restarttalent.co.uk) and mobile application (the Platform), why we use them, and how you can control them. 2. How We Use Cookies

We use cookies for the following purposes:

• To make the Platform work - some cookies are essential for the Platform to function correctly. Without them, you would not be able to log in, navigate securely, or use core features.
• To remember your preferences - functional cookies save your settings so you do not have to re-enter them each time you visit.
• To understand how the Platform is used - analytics cookies help us understand which pages and features are most popular, so we can improve the experience for all users.
• To process payments securely - our payment provider, Stripe, uses cookies to prevent fraud and ensure secure transactions.

We do not use advertising cookies Restart Talent does not use advertising, targeting, or retargeting cookies. We do not use cookies to track you across other websites or to serve you personalised advertisements. We do not sell or share cookie data with advertising networks.

3. Cookies We Use

3.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the Platform to function. They enable core features such as logging in, maintaining your session, and keeping the Platform secure. They do not collect personal data for marketing purposes and cannot be switched off.

Legal basis: These cookies do not require your consent under UK PECR as they are strictly necessary for the service you have requested.

3.2 Functional Cookies

Functional cookies allow the Platform to remember choices you make (such as your language preference or display settings) and provide enhanced features. They may be set by us or by third-party providers whose services we use.

Legal basis: Consent. You can disable functional cookies via the cookie settings banner without affecting core Platform functionality.

3.3 Analytics Cookies - Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to help us understand how visitors interact with the Platform. Google Analytics collects information about the pages you visit, how long you spend on each page, and how you arrived at the Platform. This data is aggregated and anonymised - we cannot identify individual users from analytics data.

The information generated by Google Analytics cookies about your use of the Platform is transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the Platform, compile reports on Platform activity, and provide other services relating to Platform activity and internet usage.

Legal basis: Consent. Analytics cookies are only placed on your device if you accept them via the cookie consent banner.

• Using the cookie settings banner on the Platform to withdraw your analytics consent;
• Installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout;

Google Analytics and data transfers Google Analytics data is processed in the United States. Google LLC participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and processes data under Standard Contractual Clauses, which comply with UK GDPR international transfer requirements. 3.4 Payment Cookies - Stripe

We use Stripe to process payments made by employers on the Platform. Stripe sets cookies to prevent fraudulent transactions and to ensure the security of the payment process. These cookies do not store your full payment card details.

Legal basis: Strictly necessary for payment processing - these cookies are set only when an employer initiates a payment and are required for the secure completion of that transaction.

These Stripe cookies are only set on employer accounts during the payment process. They are not set for candidates. For more information about Stripe's data practices, see stripe.com/gb/privacy.

4. Cookies and the Mobile Application

The Restart Talent mobile application (iOS and Android) does not use traditional browser cookies. However, it uses similar technologies to fulfil the same purposes:

• Local storage and device identifiers - used to maintain your login session and store preferences on your device;
• Mobile analytics - we use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the mobile app is used. This collects similar anonymised usage data to Google Analytics on the website. You can opt out via your device's privacy settings (iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking; Android: Settings > Google > Ads).
• Push notification tokens - if you allow push notifications, a device token is stored to deliver notifications. This is not a cookie but serves a similar function. You can revoke notification permissions at any time via your device settings.

5. How to Manage Your Cookie Preferences

5.1 Cookie Consent Banner

When you first visit the Restart Talent website, you will be shown a cookie consent banner. You can:

• Accept all cookies - this includes strictly necessary, functional, and analytics cookies;
• Accept only necessary cookies - this accepts only the cookies required for the Platform to function;
• Customise your preferences - this allows you to choose which categories of cookie to accept.

You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the 'Cookie Settings' link in the footer of the website. Your preferences are saved for 12 months, after which you will be asked again.

5.2 Browser Settings

You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

• View the cookies stored on your device;
• Delete some or all cookies;
• Block cookies from specific websites;
• Block all third-party cookies;
• Set your browser to notify you when a cookie is set.

Important - disabling necessary cookies If you disable strictly necessary cookies through your browser settings, the Platform may not function correctly. You may not be able to log in, access your profile, or use core features. We recommend only disabling non-essential cookies using the cookie settings banner rather than blocking all cookies at browser level.

5.3 Withdrawing Consent

Where we rely on your consent to place analytics or functional cookies, you can withdraw that consent at any time by:

• Clicking 'Cookie Settings' in the footer of the website and updating your preferences;
• Contacting us at privacy@restarttalent.co.uk and requesting that your cookie preferences be reset.

Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any cookie processing that took place before withdrawal.

6. Third-Party Websites

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites (for example, employer company websites or external job-related resources). This Cookie Policy applies only to the Restart Talent website and application. We have no control over the cookies or privacy practices of third-party websites and recommend you read their cookie policies before using those sites.

7. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use, changes in applicable law, or improvements to the Platform. When we make material changes, we will:

• Update the 'Last reviewed' date at the top of this policy;
• Display a notice on the Platform informing you of the change;
• Where required by law, ask for your consent again via the cookie banner.
